Taylor Swift Mania :) -by kAr

Taylor Alison Swift is her full name, born on December 13, 1989. Treated 13 as her lucky number. And in Evansville, Indiana, May 17 is Taylor Swift Day. I got these facts from TG and Candy (where I got caught into and my reason-they always feature stuffs about her).
If you’re a fan, I think you would agree if I say she’s brilliant and inspiring. Yeah, she really is. She is giftedly talented in playing the guitar and writing her own songs. Her hits captivated teens’ hearts because of easy-to-relate lyrics and artistic melodies. She may haven’t had a great, powerful voice but the lyrics of her songs really make her great and powerful!
Actually, at first, I’m not a fan of her, because Love Story makes my ears tilt every time I tune in to the radio and on MTV. I hated Love Story. But when I listened carefully to her other songs, I said to myself, I’m so mean, I should’ve not underestimated. After that, I started loving her other songs like Fifteen, Hey Steaphen, I’m Only Me When I’m With You, and Forever and Always . I played them almost everyday and started singing with the tune. I got LSS.
Some people may have tagged her as “pa-tweetums” or even corny but she made a great impact among teenagers because of her songs that tell about teenager encounters that sometimes leave us say, “I experience/d it too!”.
She expresses her emotions through her songs-about her love life and even about her friendship with people. The Best Day is about when she was five, Fifteen- about Abigail Anderson, her real-life best friend whom she met in high school. Invisible is about a girl who likes a guy who never noticed her and likes another girl. And a lot more of her songs which means a lot to a teen.
Did you hear about Kanye West’s scandal in MTV Video Music Awards last year? Well, he was a mess. I got really pissed off! He said that Taylor didn’t deserve the award and Beyonce should be the one who got it. It’s good that Beyonce rescued Taylor!
And about Taylor’s linkage to another Taylor? Oh yes, Twilight cutie Jacob Black or Taylor Lautner (who is far more handsome than Robert Pattinson! ha-ha!). They haven’t said about them yet but they were spotted many times together (but they had just split up last December after dating for three months).Taylor and Taylor will be seen in the flick, Valentine’s Day this Feb. ooh, so excited!
How about when she co-wrote one of her fellow country crooner, Kellie Pickler’s songs which definitely became Kellie’s first ever hit? Actually, Kellie had major boy problems before, and referred to Taylor. She said, “Hold up, let’s write a song about it.” to cheer her up. And the song they wrote got a fruitful result! It became a hit and by the way, it was entitled Best Days of Your Life which is about a cheater who had a bad karma.
2009 is her best year ever (as featured in TG Dec. issue). She got abundant achievements. Garnering awards, appearing in the big screen, selling millions of albums, snap-buys of her tour tickets and many more. She has a lot of experiences in being “the youngest ever” in bringing home awards. She is the youngest to bring home the Album of the Year Award at the Academy of Country Music Awards, getting the Best Female Award in MTV, and having world records!-Most Entries in the US Top 20 in a Year by a Solo Artist, and First US Female to Write or Co-write Every Track on a Million-Selling Debut album. This enumeration isn’t complete yet! There’s a lot more she bagged.
“She may be every guy’s dream girl now and the girl we want to be, but as a teen, Taylor had more than her share of heartbreak and feeling like we didn’t fit in. she even confessed that she used to straighten her famous curls because all the cool girls had straight hair. A s you can tell, she’s since learned to love her locks-and so do we!”, as stated in TG December`09 issue.
At the early age of 19 (she is now 20), she got into the spotlight and so we do look up to her as she makes a picture of a teen. I hope she would have this year as a more marvelous and amazing year 2010!
